The UAE has opened the largest field hospital in Turkey's Gaziantep to support those affected by the recent earthquake.
The 50-bed Emirati Relief Field hospital, which is located in an area spanning 40,000 square metres has been launched as part of the 'Gallant Knight/ 2' humanitarian operation.
It has various departments and specialists, including psychologists to help individuals suffering from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress.
The facility is also equipped to perform critical surgeries.
The Emirati team in charge of the hospital has coordinated with the authorities in Turkey to identify the needs of those affected by the disaster, and has exerted considerable efforts to establish the facility in a record time.
