UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, have underscored that the two-state solution is the only viable path to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
During a phone call, the leaders exchanged views on developments in the Middle East, particularly in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian people.
The call also covered a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The leaders also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, national news agency wam reported.
They also exchanged greetings on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, expressing their hope for peace and stability to the world.
