The Ministry of Defence has announced on Tuesday that air defences are currently responding to incoming missiles and drone threats from Iran.
In a post shared on X, the ministry advised the community to adhere to the safety and security guidelines.
An alert was sent out at 8:16 am, with instructions including immediately seeking a safe place in the closest secure building, while steering away from any windows, doors, or open areas.
The ministry has also added that the sounds heard are coming from the successful interceptions carried out by the forces.

The UAE later shared an alert at around 8:48 am assuring the community that the situation is safe, and activities can be resumed normally.
