The UAE has announced the suspension of flights to Afghanistan.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said that it is closely monitoring the developments in Afghanistan and assessing the current situation, in coordination with relevant authorities and the UAE’s national carriers.
It also added that the security and safety of civil aviation is at the top of its list of priorities.
