The UAE has hailed the latest UN-led efforts to advance the peace process in Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg's statement about reaching an agreement between the Yemeni parties to work on a roadmap to peace.
It commended the efforts of the UN and its special envoy, as well as Saudi Arabia and Oman, in facilitating this progress.
The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to stand by the Yemeni people and support their aspirations for development and prosperity.
It also emphasised the UAE’s support for all regional and international efforts to find a political solution in Yemen.
