Watch: Accident investigations to get quicker in Dubai

The investigation of serious road accidents is set to get quicker in Dubai, thanks to a new smart application.

It creates an instant link between traffic prosecutors and the cops at the crash scene.

The technology allows police to file their initial report and supporting documents within minutes.

Prosecutors can then take follow-up action without even visiting the site.

The new system will help them complete the entire inspection and reporting process within 24 hours.

Dubai Public Prosecution unveiled the app on the sidelines of GITEX Technology Week.
