Chennai Super Kings are back on top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table

They beat Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets on Tuesday night at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

After restricting Kolkata to 108 for 9, MS Dhoni's men easily chased down their target with opener Faf du Plessis top scoring on 43.

Wednesday's only IPL match involves Kings XI Punjab taking on the Mumbai Indians.
