The Dubai Sports Council has launched a portal where organisers of virtual sporting events can sign up.

With the cancellation of all sporting events, the Council hopes organisers will come up with creative ideas, such as last weekend’s Marathon at Home.

Through its initiative 'Be Fit, Be Safe' campaign, residents are being encouraged to continue exercising at home.

The campaign is being run under the hashtag #DSCchallenge, and wants participants to share their home workout videos online, tagging @DubaiSC.

The portal can be found on its website www.dubaisc.ae .
