Manchester City have returned to the top of the Premier League following their 1-0 win at Bournemouth.

Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the game.

Manchester United continued their unbeaten domestic run under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they came from behind to beat Southampton 3-2 at Old Trafford. The win takes them into the top four, above Arsenal, after Unai Emery's side drew 1-1 with Tottenham.

West Ham moved up to ninth in the table after they picked up all three points with a 2-0 victory against Newcastle. Brighton have moved five points clear of the relegation zone following a crucial 1-0 win over bottom side Huddersfield.

In other games, Crystal Palace were 3-1 winners at Burnley, while Wolves overcame Cardiff City 2-1.

Liverpool have the chance to move back to the summit with a victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Brendan Rodgers takes charge of his first game as Leicester manager when they head to Watford, while Fulham take on Chelsea.
