Galatasaray banned from European football

Turkish side Galatasaray have been banned from European football for breaking financial fair play rules. European Football’s governing body said last month that the club would face action after failing to honour a deal on spending. It means the club will be excluded from the Champions League or the Europa League if they qualify. UEFA said that the Turkish champions broke regulations on the amount of financial losses permitted.
