Tennis: Quarter-final day at Monte Carlo Masters

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are some of the big names in quarter-final action at the Monte Carlo Masters on Friday.

Top seed Djokovic will play 10th seed Daniil Medvedev, while the 11-time champion Nadal, takes on the unseeded Guido Pella.

Dusan Lajovic of Serbia and Italian qualifier Lorenzo Sonego will open the day's proceedings, while the final match of the day will see ninth seed Borna Coric of Croatia take on 13th seed Fabio Fognini of Italy.

Second seeds Lukasz Kubot / Marcelo Melo and third seeds Jamie Murray / Bruno Soares are among the top doubles teams scheduled to hit the courts.
