Two more players have tested positive ahead of the Australian Open.
According to government officials, two players and a non-playing participant were the three new infections reported on Wednesday.
Victoria State Police minister Lisa Neville confirmed that a total of 10 people associated with the Grand Slam have now tested positive for the virus.
Four of these are players.
More than 70 players and their entourage have been confined to their hotel rooms for 14 days from their date of arrival.
They are also unable to train for the February 8-21 tournament after passengers on three charter flights returned positive tests.
