UAE qualifies for Ice Hockey World Cup

The UAE team has secured 12 points in the Asian qualifiers to book their place at the Ice Hockey World Cup.

On Saturday, UAE was adjudged the winner despite losing the final match to Kyrgyzstan, after the International Ice Hockey Federation found Kyrgyz had violated the rules of player registration.

The Asian qualifiers had opened in Abu Dhabi Ski Hall in Zayed Sports City last Sunday.
