Police in Dubai have busted a group trying to make off with stolen goods.

Their attempt was foiled by two patrolling officers who spotted a pick-up truck carrying several boxes in the Jebel Ali area.

The driver and the passenger gave conflicting statements and had no documents or invoices connected to the goods.

During interrogation, the pair confessed that the items were stolen from a company with the help of two of its employees.

All four suspects have been referred to the higher authorities for legal action.
