More free parking areas are being announced as the UAE prepares for the Hijri New Year holiday
Abu Dhabi and Sharjah both announced complimentary parking for the holiday, shortly after Dubai announced free parking across the city.
Street parking spaces in Abu Dhabi will be free of charge starting Thursday, August 12, until 7:59 am on Saturday, August 14.
Additionally, Mussafah Industrial area parking lot M18 will also be free during the holiday.
The Integrated Transport Centre urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am.

Sharjah Municipality also took to Instagram to announce free parking, barring in blue zones.
