UAE air defences are currently responding to "incoming missile and drone threats", according to alerts from the Ministry of Defence and The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).

The alerts, issued around 8.32 am, requested the public to remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.

The Ministry of Defence also posted an alert:

وتؤكد وزارة الدفاع أن الأصوات المسموعة في مناطق متفرقة من الدولة هي نتيجة اعتراض كل من منظومات الدفاع الجوي للصواريخ البالستية، والمقاتلات للطائرات المسيرة والجوالة.
