The UAE is the leading spa tourism location in the Middle East and North Africa. That’s according to a report by the Global Wellness Institute, which also says that the number of spa tourists is set to double by 2017. Dubai is the market leader in the GCC, with the vast array of luxury resorts contributing to the growth of the sector in the emirate. Meanwhile, another report, by Euromonitor International for The Leisure Show Dubai 2015, states that revenues in the UAE spa market are set to hit 1.5 billion dirhams this year.
