There was an 18 per cent rise in the number of online job postings in the UAE during the second quarter of this year.
That's the highest growth in the region, according to figures released in the latest Monster Employment Index.
Education led the way with a 19 per cent increase in job postings, followed by production, which includes sectors like manufacturing, at 12 per cent.
The IT and Oil and Gas markets also registered steady growth at eight per cent each, but it wasn't such good news for engineering, construction and real estate, which all saw a 19 per cent drop in online job postings.
