A Canadian woman who stopped another woman from taking her life has been honoured by the Abu Dhabi Police.
Brigadier Mohammed Suhail Al Rashdi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police's Criminal Security Sector, presented the woman with a token of appreciation.
He also praised the Canadian for her quick action as her call to the control room on spotting the woman standing near a bridge in Abu Dhabi helped avert a tragedy.
Al Rashdi stressed that the Abu Dhabi Police is keen to honour citizens for their positive role so they motivate others to set a positive example.
