Authorities in the UAE capital have reduced the speed limit on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road.
It will change from 160 kmph to 140 kmph from Al Sad Bridge to Al Amera Bridge in the direction of Al Ain City, the Abu Dhabi Police said on their social media handle.
The decision, made in consultation with the teams from the Integrated Transport Center, is part of efforts to "enhance traffic safety".
It will come into effect on November 14.
Motorists have been urged to follow the new speed limits.
