The Albanian government has recognised the UAE's contributions to recent wildfire relief efforts in the country.
At a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama and senior military officials, Albania thanked national forces, volunteers and international partners for their efforts in responding to natural disasters.
The UAE team was honoured for its outstanding humanitarian contributions, reflecting strong bilateral ties and the UAE’s leading role in relief operations.
More than 10,000 personnel took part in the firefighting efforts, with Albania stressing the importance of continued international cooperation to strengthen its disaster response capabilities.
