A major COVID-19 testing and sanitisation programme in Abu Dhabi’s Musaffah area has successfully concluded.
Authorities have confirmed that the spread of the virus has now been fully contained in the area.
The campaign reached out to more than 570,000 people over a period of six weeks.
As many as 2,730 buildings were checked and 260 housing complexes disinfected.
One million free meals and 750,000 face masks were also distributed as part of the initiative.
