DP World is exploring ways to help rebuild Aden’s maritime and trade sector. Discussions are taking place with a visiting delegation from Yemen, with a view to restoring operations at the Port of Aden. Officials from DP World and Jebel Ali FreeZone will visit Yemen next week to establish areas where assistance can be provided. Meanwhile, there has been significant progress made in Aden, according to Yemeni Vice President and Prime Minister Khalid Mahfouz Bahah. He says a marked improvement in terms of relief operations and re-construction is being witnessed. According to national news agency WAM, Bahah also said that by working with the national resistance and NGOs, all security challenges can be addressed and life can return to normal.
