Dubai Police has called on drivers to be cautious on the roads due to the current rainy weather conditions in the country.
Motorists are reminded to reduce speed, maintain distance, avoid distractions, and refrain from reckless driving.
They also advised drivers to ensure vehicle checks, especially tires, wipers, and lights, avoid sudden stops, and use warning signals appropriately during breakdowns.
Dubai Police also reminded road users to always use a seat belt, staying in lane and not changing lanes except in cases of emergency, and reducing speed and paying attention at turns and low-lying areas and open roads, due to the possibility of accumulated water.
Residents are advised against venturing into wadis to chase the rain or take photos.
