In celebration of Eid Al-Adha, workers across the UAE were treated to a series of special events organised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE).
Held in 10 locations nationwide, the celebrations featured exciting competitions, interactive activities, live entertainment and valuable prizes, including a brand-new car and airline tickets. Traditional folk dances and gift giveaways added to the festive atmosphere.
Under the theme "Eid with Our Workers: Joy and Happiness," the initiative saw strong support from key government entities, including the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah Police, as well as municipalities and civil defence authorities.
MoHRE employees and partners also joined workers for Eid prayers in Dubai, sharing greetings and marking the holiday together.
The events took place in areas including Jebel Ali, Al Quoz and Muhaisnah in Dubai; Mussafah and Hameem in Abu Dhabi; and industrial zones in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah - drawing large and enthusiastic crowds.
Officials say the initiative is part of a long-term strategy to honour workers, boost morale and highlight their vital role in shaping the UAE’s economic future.
