The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has confirmed that meals served at McDonald's in the UAE are free from E. coli bacteria.
It added that regulatory authorities in the UAE conduct regular inspections to ensure that all food facilities comply with strict safety and quality standards.
This assurance comes as part of the country's commitment to food safety.
Recently, there was an E. coli outbreak linked to certain McDonald's locations in the US, primarily affecting western and mid-western states.
The outbreak raised concerns as multiple cases were reported, prompting health officials to investigate the source.
