A total of 530 tonnes of relief supplies have been collected in Fujairah as part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign.
Around 1,000 volunteers helped prepare and pack the aid items that were delivered by the Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and the Fujairah Charity Association.
It came following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
The 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' relief campaign, which was launched in early October under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has attracted strong response from community members.
