
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, received His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, at Al-Baraka Palace in Muscat on Monday.
The meeting took place during Sheikh Hamdan’s official visit to Oman, where he is leading a high-level delegation.
Sultan Haitham warmly welcomed the UAE delegation, reaffirming the deep-rooted fraternal bonds between the two nations and their shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Sheikh Hamdan conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, along with their best wishes for Oman’s continued growth and prosperity.
Discussions during the meeting focused on advancing collaboration across key sectors, including the economy, trade, tourism, culture and knowledge exchange, as both nations work to support comprehensive and sustainable development.
Sheikh Hamdan described the visit as highly rewarding, highlighting the enduring strength of Emirati-Omani ties.
He noted the importance of ongoing coordination and the exchange of successful development models to support a shared vision for the future, enhance strategic priorities and foster deeper Gulf cooperation.
His Highness also expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous hospitality extended by the Sultan and the Omani people, and wished the Sultanate continued progress and prosperity.
Earlier in the day, Sheikh Hamdan was welcomed upon arrival in Muscat by Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
