His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces held talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Wednesday.
It's part of Sheikh Mohamed's continuous discussions and contacts with world leaders on the latest developments on the Ukrainian crisis.
During the phone call, the two leaders exchanged views on an array of regional and international issues, mainly the unfolding developments in Ukraine, its humanitarian repercussions and its impact on international peace and security.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the importance of intensifying international humanitarian efforts in support of those affected by the crisis, facilitating swift and safe access to aid, and working to protect civilians.
He also stressed the need to resort to peaceful and diplomatic means in settling disputes between states and reaching a consensus that guarantees the interests of all parties.
