Major accident brings traffic to standstill on key Dubai road

A multi-vehicle collision has brought traffic to a standstill just before Mirdif bridge on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi. 

In a tweet, Dubai Police advised motorists to be cautious around the area and take alternative routes.

Drivers were also reminded to leave ample space between cars and maintain speed limits.
