Motorists are being advised to drive cautiously as a blanket of fog is expected across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and parts of Ajman.
The National Centre of Meteorology has issued a fog warning until 9:00 am on Tuesday.
Large parts of Abu Dhabi have less than 1,000 meters of horizontal visibility.

As the visibility drops, Abu Dhabi police have reduced speed limits on parts of the Sweihan road, the Abu Dhabi Al Ain road, and Abu Dhabi Dubai road reduced to 80 km/h.
