Growing childhood obesity rates in the region are being addressed by a local initiative. United for Healthier Kids (U4HK) is a movement to positively impact children’s lives by encouraging them to move more, increase their water intake, add more fruits and vegetables to their diet and eat smaller portions. Headed by global foodstuffs Nestle, its backed by regional media networks including ARN. Zeinab Maktabi, the Nutrition, Health and Wellness Manager with Nestle Middle East spoke to ARN about the motivation to start the programme.
