Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is reminding motorists about possible traffic delays on Saturday as IRONMAN 70.3 Dubai's bike race hits the streets.
Parts of Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim Road and Al Qudra Street are among the areas likely to be affected between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Supported by Dubai Sports Council and organised under the slogan “Anything is Possible”, IRONMAN 70.3 Dubai is billed as a race that bridges the exotic with the luxurious.
More than 2,500 participants are expected to take part this year, including nearly 100 elite professionals.
The event includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride and a 21.1 km run.
