Sharjah International Airport says it’s completed preparations for the resumption of flights for returning UAE residents.
The emirate’s airport authority says all the necessary precautionary measures are in place to protect travellers and employees.
They include continuous santisation of all airport facilities, aircraft, freight planes and corridors leading to and from the airport.

"The decision to start the return trips of residents stranded abroad is a positive step and heralds subsequent steps to fully open the air and the return of travel and air traffic to its previous nature," said Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah International Airport Authority.
