The Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority (SPCA) has successfully intercepted seven drug smuggling attempts at Khalid Port from July to September 2024.
During this period, authorities seized over 45 kg of narcotics, which were cleverly concealed in bags, machinery, and containers.
Thanks to the diligence of inspection teams, these illegal substances were spotted and handed over to the authorities for further action.
The SPCA emphasized that combating drug smuggling remains a top priority to ensure community safety and enhance the UAE's secure environment.
