The Dubai ruler has pardoned 674 prisoners ahead of the UAE's 48th National day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered the release of the inmates from the correctional and penal institutions in the emirate.

It reflects his keenness to give the prisoners a fresh start to a new life and alleviate the suffering of their families.
