Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced traffic diversions at International City 1 as construction work on the Dubai Metro Blue Line continues.
The entrance from Ras Al Khor Road heading to International City 1 has been closed, with an alternative entrance opened to traffic. Another route has also been opened to ease traffic into International City 1.
Drivers are urged to plan their routes to avoid delays.
These diversions are part of the ongoing construction work of the Dubai Metro Blue Line, with the new station scheduled to open in 2029.
The 30 km project is set to reshape mobility across nine key districts of the city and connect areas expected to be home to more than one million residents. It will feature 14 stations, including a world-record-setting structure: the Emaar Properties Station — soon to be the highest metro station in the world at 74 metres tall.
