The UAE has topped a global list of most-popular holiday destinations for 2021.
The index, based on Google search data for 131 nations has been compiled by the luxury travel firm Kuoni.
It’s ranked the UAE as the most searched-for vacation spot in 11 countries, adding that each of the seven emirates has its own characteristics.
The UAE came out on top ahead of Canada, the US and Qatar – all in joint second spot, followed by Egypt.
According to Google Trends, searches for ‘2021 holiday’ have increased by a whopping 124 per cent when compared to the end of March.
