Residents can now donate clothes to the people of Yemen when they visit a mall in Dubai. Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has partnered with Oasis Mall to launch ‘Clothes for Compassion’, which will have different drop-off points in the shopping centre. Government and non-profit groups across the UAE have seen similar initiatives, aiming to help Yemenis affected by the ongoing conflict. ERC has recently sent aid to more than 640,000 Yemenis, deploying 170 aid workers to the country. The charity drive runs until November 21.
