The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have discussed the latest regional developments.
Their phone call focused on the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza and the urgent need to ensure the protection of civilians.
The two leaders emphasised the importance of swift international action to bring about an immediate ceasefire and prevent additional escalation that could threaten regional security and affect stability around the world.
They agreed that this requires a united and determined approach and the need to pursue all avenues for resolution.
Their discussions also addressed ways to support bilateral relations within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and Germany.
