UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed ways to advance bilateral ties with India during his talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Abu Dhabi.
The leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation across diverse fields such as economy, investment, trade, energy, and technology.
In a social media post, the UAE leader highlighted that "the UAE and India are united by our shared keenness to develop a bilateral strategic partnership to achieve further progress and build a better future for our people".

Modi, who was greeted by Sheikh Mohamed as he arrived at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, will be attending the World Governments Summit in Dubai and inauguration of the first Hindu temple in the UAE capital on Wednesday.
The leader was accorded an official reception ceremony that included a guard of honour welcome, a 21-gun salute, and a performance of the national anthems of India and the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, took to social media to welcome the Indian leader to the World Governments Summit.
"We extend a warm welcome to the Republic of India, the guest of honour at this year’s World Governments Summit, and to Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. The strong ties between our nations serve as a model for international cooperation," he wrote.
"It is a pleasure to have India as a distinguished guest at this international event, where it will showcase its innovations, initiatives and projects across diverse sectors that are a model for accelerating development for government service delivery."
