Parents take note - schools in the UAE are open on Monday unless you've been told otherwise.
In a Tweet, the KHDA denied reports that the Ministry of Education has declared a nationwide holiday on Monday because of the weather conditions.
They said parents should check with their kids' schools if they think it might be closed for the day.
Heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms lashed various parts of the UAE on Sunday.
Forecasters have predicted unstable weather on Monday as well.
Honestly you guys - when did you ever know our rain tweets to be so boring? 🤨 Now go to sleep - you’ve got school tomorrow. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/9IHIINyeTJ
