Fire in Dubai warehouses brought under control

Dubai Civil Defence teams were quick to the scene of a fire in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area that struck two warehouses storing paint and building materials.

Firefighters reached the spot within five minutes of being alerted to the incident at 12:12 pm.

The fire was brought under control at 1:14 pm and no injuries or deaths were reported.

Officials said the thick smoke in the area was due to the nature of the flammable materials.
