UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reaffirmed support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at lasting ceasefire in Gaza during a phone call with Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein on Monday.
Both sides underlined the importance of advancing efforts to establish peace based on the two-state solution to achieve lasting stability and security in the region.
The two leaders also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the latest developments in the Middle East.
They also discussed strengthening cooperation and joint action between the two nations and the Arab region in light of the challenges facing the region.
