Specialised teams from the UAE dropped more than 400,000 kg of water to contain raging wildfires in Albania.
The team conducted eight air raids over fire-affected areas around Gramsh, national news agency Wam reported.
The UAE team, which is working in partnership with the Albanian emergency crew, held a meeting to map out ways to accelerate efforts to save more lives and protect properties.
Several Albanian officials thanked the UAE leaders for standing by Albania in the current situation and praised the UAE rescue team for their professionalism.
The UAE rescue team members arrived in Albania on Monday under the directives of the UAE President.
